Introduction
This lesson focuses on the three different types of fall risk screening:
- Dépistage opportuniste
- Fall Severity Screening
- Fall Mobility Screening
ALL PATIENTS 65 YEARS OR OLDER SHOULD BE SCREENED FOR RISK OF FALLING EACH YEAR.

- Identify who to screen for risk of falling and when to screen them.
- Identify the three different types of fall risk screening.
- Recognize when to apply each type of fall risk screening.
- Describe how to conduct each type of fall risk screening.
- Identify which resources should be used to assist and support the fall risk screening process.
